Visiting

When walking into a church for the first time we understand it can be daunting. Having an idea of what to expect can help you feel relax.

Bethel Community Church is part of the Assemblies of God network of churches in the United Kingdom. On a local level, as a church, we like to encourage a culture which is warm, welcoming and accepting.

On Sunday mornings we meet at 11am to worship God together. Our meetings are relaxed and informal with a casual dress code. Our service includes a time where we sing praises to God in a contemporary, vibrant style. For some they like to pray out loud and for others perhaps share some encouraging words. We enjoy taking communion (breaking of bread) and studying the Word of God in a way which is both practicable and relevant to our lives.

During our service the children have an opportunity to attend groups relevant to their age (2-14 years  of age). These group are offsite and only a minute walk from the church. Our Sunday school is led by trained adults who have been DBS checked. We believe our children are very important and so have in place strict safeguarding polices to ensure their safety and enjoyment at all times.

Our Sunday services normally finish around 12.30pm.
